I photographed these iconic grain elevators in Denton, Montana in October 2017. Sadly, this scene no longer exists. A huge wildfire roared into this small Montana farming town in December 2021 and these grain elevators were destroyed.
SEE BELOW FOR INFORMATION ABOUT MY CUSTOM PRINTING PROCESS.
All of my paper prints are custom printed in my studio on high quality Moab Entrada rag paper. The print follows the journey, the vision, the capture, the craft and, ultimately, it is the final outcome of the photographic process. That is why it is important to me to make my own prints with as much care and attention to detail as possible. I was trained deep in the tradition of fine darkroom print making. Today's inkjet printers and high quality papers have finally achieved the ability to produce prints with the extraordinary detail and delicate tonal transition which I seek. I am proud to offer these prints.
Paper prints can be matted and framed, or they can be mounted on gator board and hung directly on the wall. Please contact me to discuss mounting options. I also offered custom float framed prints.
Metal prints are also available. Please note that metal prints are produced by a third-party lab. Metal has it's own unique and beautiful qualities and the prints are easily hung and displayed.
